T. Cribb & Sons was founded in 1881 and remains a family business today, now led by the fourth generation of the Cribb family, with the next generation already working alongside them. Our repatriation service has been running for more than three decades, in which time we’ve organised repatriations to over 90 countries, handling every case efficiently and respectfully, whatever the family’s background, faith or wishes.
India’s documentation requirements are among the strictest we deal with, so our relationship with the Indian High Commission matters. We know exactly what’s needed, including in cases where the deceased held a foreign passport, and we guide families through it step by step rather than leaving them to work it out alone.
Call us any time, day or night, and we'll talk you through what happens next and what we'll need from you.
We'll confirm which documents apply to your situation, the original death certificate and Indian passport as standard, and the OCI card where a foreign passport is also held, and handle the process with the Indian High Commission on your behalf.
We arrange collection, preparation and the flight to India, keeping delays to a minimum at every stage.
We coordinate with trusted contacts in India so your loved one is cared for right through to their arrival with family.
We stay in touch throughout, so you always know where things stand and what's happening next.
T. Cribb & Sons Worldwide Repatriations is an international company, offering a comprehensive service including repatriation to India, taking care of the legalities on your behalf.
We have good working relationships with coroners and the Indian High Commission, built up over the years, and we rely on them to keep delays to a minimum, so you can bring your loved one home safely for a peaceful send off.
The Indian High Commission in London has strict rules on what’s required. The mandatory documents are the original death certificate and the original Indian passport. If the deceased also held a foreign passport, a British one for example, the OCI card is mandatory too. If they didn’t have an OCI card, repatriation is still possible, the process is simply different, so please call our team of experts and we’ll talk you through it.

Feedback for Cribbs Beckton. Funeral 6th September 2024,. Cribbs provided a professional service for my father. I would like to offer a special thankyou to Taylor and the men who conveyed my father to his home, church and cemetery. They treated the family with compassion. I will be recommending Cribbs to my friends and family.
